Afrimental Connect was established to empower young people aged 18–24 through entrepreneurship, innovation and personal development. We create opportunities for youth to transform their ideas into viable businesses by equipping them with practical skills, mentorship, and startup support.

Our Program Structure

Afrimental Connect delivers one two-week intensive entrepreneurship program each year and below is how we do it

Through our intensive two-week training program, participants build strong entrepreneurial foundations, learning mindset development, idea generation, market research, business planning, financial literacy, branding, marketing, sales, customer service and the practical mechanics of starting and growing a business.

Alongside business training, participants develop essential leadership and communication skills through sessions focused on public speaking, confidence building, overcoming fear, effective communication, body language, vocal variety, goal setting, accountability, execution, and giving constructive feedback.

The program concludes with a Pitch Day, where participants present their business ideas before a panel of judges. The winning entrepreneur receives startup capital to help bring their vision to life and begin their entrepreneurial journey.
